Contact form: your name, email, phone number, project type and message, and whether you asked for email updates.
Invite to Bid form: project name, site address or roadway limits, your company and role, a contact person, email, phone number, stage of the opportunity, requested work, scope, bid deadline, document references and any access restrictions.
Bid Room form: company, contact name, email, phone number, trade or services offered, coverage area and message.
Careers form: name, email, phone number, type of work, years of experience, licenses and certifications, the city you live in, what you tell us about your experience, and any resume you upload.
Phone calls and text messages: when you call or text a number shown on this site or on our Google Business Profile, we collect your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and the page or search that led to it. Calls may be recorded, transcribed and analyzed automatically, and text messages are kept.
Site visits: pages viewed, how you reached the site, your device and browser type, and a general location based on your IP address. Form entries also store the IP address and page of each submission.

How We Use It

We use this information:

To reply to your question or bid invitation and talk through your project.
To review subcontractor and supplier introductions.
To consider job applications.
To see which pages and searches lead people to contact us, and to improve how we respond.
To keep spam and abuse out of our forms.
To send building tips and project updates, only if you checked the email updates box on the contact form. You can unsubscribe at any time.

V&H staff who handle inquiries, bids and applications see what you send us. We also use outside services to run this site and handle messages:

WhatConverts for call, text and form tracking, including call recordings, transcripts and automated call analysis.
Google for site measurement (Google Analytics) and to protect this site and its forms from spam and abuse (reCAPTCHA).
OOPSpam to screen form submissions for spam, including the message, email address and IP address.
Our website host and email delivery services to run this site and deliver form notifications.
Our website and marketing agency and its service partners, which manage this site and its tracking for us and receive copies of form messages, including job applications, and call and text alerts.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA.

Cookies and Site Measurement

This site uses cookies and similar browser storage for Google Analytics, WhatConverts and reCAPTCHA. They help us count visits, connect a call or form to the visit that led to it, and tell people from automated traffic.

Some phone numbers on this site and on our Google Business Profile are tracking numbers that forward to our main line. The number you see can change from one visit to another.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks, scrolling and page views. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We keep form entries and the emails they send, call records and text messages for as long as we need them for the work they relate to and for our business records. Copies in spam-filter logs, email delivery logs and site measurement tools are deleted automatically on those tools’ own schedules.
